Vintage Custom 1950 Pine Esquire

Released in 2020 which is of course a 70th Anniversary of the Esquire this is model 923-5001-175 in aged black. Being an anniversary year means others were released including a 2 pickup Thinline Esquire which I will ignore as ridiculous.
The Fender blurb
Perhaps the rarest Fender® guitar is its first one - the single-pickup pine-body Esquire. The very first Fender electric solid-body guitar. Wasn't even around for a full year, and yet it changed guitar music forever. Fender shipped barely a handful of them before changing the body to ash and the finish to blonde.
This guitar is not a very limited edition it is in more than one catalogue.
