The Yamaha RGX 700 range

There are no 7 series models in the archives but 3 models exist. The 721 and the 721MR are in the 1993 catalogue and have some similarities to the 821D and DMR which probably replaced them the following year. I am fairly sure that these guitars were Made in Taiwan. Another Made in Taiwan guitar the 721DG appears in catalogues in 1997/98 and appears to have lasted until 1999.

The RGX721DG

This colour is Transluscent Blue

This is a pretty striking looking guitar with vivid colours and gold hardware, the dot markers are slightly unusual in that as well as the normal two wide dots on the 12th fret they are also on the last fret.
