Yamaha Guitar Development opened in January 1989 in Weddington Street North Holywood. Much of the Pacifica design
and development work was done here by Rich Lasner and Leo Knapp. They later around 1995 designed and produced 3 (or 4)
Models.

There is also a model designated as the USA 2C but this is just custom variations on the 1 and 2
Interestingly I haven't yet found any of the USA models in Western catalogues, the Custom and the USA 2 appear in
the Japanese catalogues, I haven't found the USA 1 in any Catalogues. Only the USA 2 appears in the archives.
