Burns London issued the Barracuda as a UK made model in 1997 and reissued it as a club series made in Korea in
2003. At some point they dropped the trem model and issued the hardtail only, all fully described in Trevor's pages.
There are also a couple of special models described on my other pages here
The current model was launched in 2014 and is referred to on the Burns site as the Barracuda Special in the Club Series. This model has a trem system so presumably they have solved the tuning issues that plagued the earlier ones. I assume that this guitar is made in China but I have no information on this so it may not be the case. In December 2016 Thomann had these for sale at £608 for Red or Blue £647 for White Specifications
